Sebastian "Sibby" Barbosa moved to Naugatuck, CT at the age of 6, when he and his family immigrated from Brazil. He and his wife Elvira have raised their children here and are proud to call it home.
Having always had a passion for automobiles, Sibby started working with them at the age of 12 at the local Chevron Station (presently Cumberland Farms location on Rubber Ave) where he pumped gas and swept floors. Sibby enrolled at Emmett O'Brien Technical Hugh Schol in Ansonia with a focus on Automotive.
After working for various automotive establishments in the area, Sibby opened the doors to Sibby’s Automotive, Inc. in 1986. He has many years of experience both with foreign and domestic vehicles and because of the strong pride he and his employees take in their work, Sibby's Automotive has quite the following of loyal customers. Customer satisfaction is his top priority. No job is too small or too big and EVERYONE is treated equally (and fair).
Sibby's Automotive specializes in general repairs, towing and the sale of used and classic cars.
Sibby's Automotive tows for authorities such as The Naugatuck Police Dept, Connecticut State Troopers and the United States Postal Service. We also work with FEDEX and various local wholesale and retail accounts. Sibby's Automotive supplies road side service for Motor Clubs such as Agero and Geico.
Sibby's Automotive is open Monday thru Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) and Saturday (8:00am - 12:00pm). Sibby's Automotive towing services are available 24 hrs a day.
